Ascension St. John now has the city’s only Level I Trauma Center.
Being a Level I Trauma Center means the hospital has specialists available 24 hours a day to deal with traumatic injuries in this half of the state.
St. John says this is something they’ve been working on for several years, and will be a game-changer for people who need serious, high-level care in this region.
